Metalizing a Bridge
Metalizing can be successfully used to prevent corrosion on a wide variety of vessels, equipment and infrastructure. A link to a partial list of those substrates is to the left.

In addition, metalizing has two very unique uses and those are for corrosion protection of the soil-side of tank floors and to prevent zebra mussels from attaching themselves to structures in water/power systems.

Many corrosion issues with tank floors are soil-side related. Other coatings simply cannot stand up to the subsequent welding that occurs when the floor pieces are assembled. Metalizing can and we have proof. If soil-side corrosion is an issue for you, please watch our short metalizing video.

The zebra mussel is a freshwater bivalve that colonizes on hard surfaces and, when present in sufficient quantities can impair the operation of power plants, resevoirs and water distribution systems. The Army Corp of Engineers has proven that metalizing is an effective deterent to zebra mussels. If zebra mussels are an issue for you please click here.
